The summer months see an abundance of insect life creating ideal conditions for the dry fly specialist. In July and August, water levels drop and wading is easier, runs are better defined. The last week of September sees the brown trout come out of the lakes and head up rivers, notable the Madison in Yellowstone Park. This is the season for anglers who enjoy having miles of river all to themselves.

After an initial career in the urban world of corporate sales and marketing, Gordon exchanged his suit for a pair of boots and jeans and never looked back, fly fishing: pursuing native trout in lakes, rivers and streams. He is truly a class-act and one of the best and most professional guides you will ever meet.
